Looking for someone who can configure AE101DE with PRI and nake VNOW workable.

Hi,

Is there an issue with configuring Sangoma A101DE for VNOW? I thought it worked out of the box. In the first versions of VNOW, the Sangoma drivers were not included, and I remember generating some custom zaptel and wanpipe RPMs, but I thought the new VNOW versions included Wanpipe; is it not so?

I've not been working with VNOW, recently, I prefer to compile Asterisk and Wanpipe directly and I prefer to use 2.2 version of Vicidial, which has many new features and fixes.

In any case, if you explain what your requirement is, I am sure I can help you out.

Honestly , I have never tried PRI with Vici.

I always worked with SIP.

I have a requirement now where I have to Configure PRI "OR" MAY BE GSM PRI with Vici.

PRI : Cheap to Implement but Costly call charges
GSM PRI : Costly to Implement but cheap call charges such as 1/1 pulse.

Vici will work with 15 agents , so I guess I need 30 channels to dial out at MAX 1:2 ratio.

Sangoma drivers are installed by default on VicidialNOW from version 1.2 and above. The latest stable wanpipe drivers from Sangoma are used.

But confused about Carrier Settings , Dial Prefix and likewise .

Also, can ViciDial works as SMS gateway ?

If , right ?

Can any additional component be added on the server to act it as sms gateway ?

Yep! Just make sure that the GSM channel banks are configured via Asterisk. I have clients dialing via PRIs and GSM channel banks.
