Vicidial Agent Layout Customization

Hello,

I am looking to customize the vicidial agent layout screen and some of the functionality with it.

I have a diagram of the layout and each tab on the page. If you reach out to me by skype or email I can reply with the file for your reference.

Also looking to plug this into vTiger - so if you can do both let me know, or even if you have a reference.

why don't you just create a custom form (with or without custom fields) and accomplish this WITHOUT coding?

That sounds like a solution any - examples or sceenshots would be welcome to better understand what you mean.

Simply - we are looking to have a different look and flow of how the agent interface is used.

Any solution to that would be awesome.

you ... did a scratch install (not a small feat), you have a multi-server setup (ditto), and you have upgraded to 2.4 (ok, that's pretty easy if you did the other two) ... but you can't find the forms at all? (they are hidden pretty well)

A complete tutorial on how to use forms is a little beyond my capacity right now (and would take the entire day?). Search the forum for details (matt has been very good about dropping some very specific ones on us). Or wait for the 2.4 Manual which I am sure will contain specifics.

Basic helpers:

Code: Select all

   1. system settings: Enable Custom List Fields: =1
   2. User: Custom Fields Modify: =1
   3. List: Custom fields defined for this list: 0 (CLICK!)

          Read notes regarding "standard" fields and how to add them! in the help screens

   4. Create a script and assign to this campaign (older versions with the "bug" require this for the FORM to be usable in the agent interface).

          Verify that the script will actually "come up" during a call (this provides user/pwd for bug versions)

   5. Change the campaign to "pop" the "Form" (not web form! form!) when the agent gets a call.

Firstly - thanks - great information.

Secondly - I think I need to clarify : right now I don't have the time to get in there and customize it myself I am looking for some help here - I have like 4 projects i need to get off the ground here pretty quickly and was okayed on getting some extra hands on the setup.

But maybe if there is no availiblilty for anyone - I will have to focus my dev work here.
