Hi,
We are in the process of installing VICIDIAL but some of the files have gotten corrupted several times...especially if we restart the system. I think we have sufficient memory but there have been times when the system just froze/hung and upon restart we had several files corrupted. Other times it was a normal re-start and we still had the same problem. Any advice on how we can avoid this.
Also, is there a way to install VICIDIAL on the same server that we have our Windows CRM running on?
Thanks

Which files have gotten corrupted?
We do not experience file corruption on any of our systems, have you run a disk integrity utility and a memory tester?
the PHP scripts can be run on a windows server with PHP installed, but the perl scripts need to run on a Linux server.

MySQL and Keepalive cron scripts are ones that usuall get corrupted. We will do tests that you mentioned.
If we want to run our Windows CRM with the VICIDIALER - then you recommend that we have 2 separate machines/servers to run each? Can we install LINUX on the windows server (dual boot)?
Thanks

could you explain how the keepalive scripts get corrupted?
As for VICIDIAL and your CRM, you can run the PHP pages on the windows server, but the Asterisk and perl/AGI scripts need to be on Linux. Dual boot won't work since you cannot run them both at once. An emulator like VMware doesn't work very well at all either, you will need a second machine to run only Linux.
