are there option that i can load balance two web server only on a multi server setup of vicidial

3 - asterisk
1 DB
2 web server (sole web server/load balance)

anyone have done loadbalancing of web server..?

Apache has a built-in load balancing module, can't remember the exact name of it, but it is fairly simple to set up and configure.

you use the application called BALANCE

yes i have 2 web server with same vicidial script, but i just follow your scratch_install procedure that i downloaded the svn trunk then copy the web files to the web server directory then set the proper setting for the databased.

what particular script are this.? script found on /usr/share/astguiclient..?

and i found this instruction:

- gunzip balance-3.34.tgz
- tar xvf balance-3.34.tar
- cd balance-3.34
- make
- make install
- /usr/sbin/balance -f 81 localhost:80 10.10.10.16:80

assuming 10.10.10.16 is another web server with the same vici scripts

Balance should be in both web server right..? and the situation is all agents would only login to one web server, tehn balance would do the rest to share the load to other web server.

I use haproxy to balance on 4 werb servers . I didn't had any problems

if i useed Haproxy i need another box as load balancer right, so making it 3 servers all in all..? 2 apache web server and 1 HAproxy..

or you put haproxy to run on a different port on one of those machine
