Hi,

Reading the Docs/QC_PROCESS.TXT and looking around in the administration, I get the impression that the QC features are included in Vicibox??

We need to Control every sale made, and either send the sale back to the agent as a callback to call back the customer and redo the recording, or approve it as an order. This seems to be possible somehow, but there is no qc.php file anywhere.... ?

It was started over 2 years ago and the client that had sponsored the development killed the project and started a different one. It was about half finished at the time it was killed so a lot of the admin code is in there and some of the backend code, but a lot more needs to be done before it would be functional.

I already pledged $3 000 towards completing the development. So come on guys, please contribute so that this FANTASTIC feature can be included.

I will pledge another $600 so I will be sponsoring 20% of the development cost but it will really be nice if some other people could also contribute. There are 69 000 registered users. Imagine the incredible features if every time there is a feature request every user ONLY contributes 50 cents!!

I installed vicidial 2.4 from scratch in stallion. I want to configured quality control module in this version. When ever i enable option in system setting for qc.
Its showing option in campaign as well as in user tab. But its not showing menu for quality control.

So, can you please guide us for configure and integrate quality control module in vicidial 2.4 version.

We haven't supported the 2.4 version in years. Why wouldn't you install the latest version of Vicidial?

Did you enable QC features in System Settings?

Could you elaborate as to what exactly "not working" means?

Your user must have QC enabled under "users". This setting will not be available until QC has been turned on in System Settings, so it would not be enabled for any users until AFTER QC has been activated. The system does not assume that any users should have the QC menu.

We do lots of customization in 2.4 version on admin as well as on agent side. So, there is no any way to use qc feature in 2.4 version.

If there is any alternative way. Than please guide us.

Please consider that release 2.4 has A LOT of security issues and major bugs that have been fixed in more recent versions of Vicidial. We strongly recommend upgrading.

I concur. You may use DIFFs against your present version and bring your customizations forward to a later version. You may also find that many of your customizations are no longer necessary, as there have been a huge number of improvements since 2.4.

That being said: The manual for Quality Control also includes installation instructions for those with a version of Vicidial before it was included in the core.
