Anyone tried vicidialnow installer CD?
Download available at
ftp.vicidialnow. org
I am wondering if it works in VMware and support all the modules and hardware etc.

try it and let us know your experience. works very good for us. we're already using it in production.

here are some known issues:

- works only w/ ide dvd/cdrom drives
- long pause during installation is just after "Retrieving Installation Information"

it's currently based on the following:

centos 5.0
asterisk 1.2.24
astguiclient 2.0.3

We are trying to install vicidialiso. but it stops after retriving installtion information screen.

i have downloaded it from final folder.

that is actually a known issue. check my previous post. just wait for a few minutes after "Retrieving installation information .." and it will continue.

hi,

it halts on firmatting / file system 8 % , i am witing for last 1 hours on this screen.

what's the specs of your hardware? it shouldn't be that slow if you're using a 2ghz processor.
