Is there a way to embed a phone in the webpage itself, without popups etc, ?

Yes, I have seen it done before with VICIDIAL, using a java-based web phone alongside the vicidial.php code, I do plan on adding a PHONE tab(much like the SCRIPT tab) that would be configurable per system to allow embedded phones like that, yet still be hidden when the agent is talking with customers. This is not scheduled for the 2.0.4 release, but for the 2.0.5 release(if the code is not contributed by someone else that is).
