those are just warning messages. try to see if apache is running by issuing this command:

#ps ax | grep httpd

you should see something like this:

[root@db200 ~]# ps ax | grep httpd
3181 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
3541 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
3543 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
3550 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
3551 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
3554 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
