agent call scripts takes a long time to load

hi,

we have encountered this one....

when agents are logged in and calls start coming in. their call scripts takes sometime to load. disabling them to use it since a customer/client is already talking in the other line.

any ideas about this? we dont have this kind of problem before, it sort of just appeared after we rebooted the server yesterday.

I bet that you are using Internet Explorer.

If so, either change to Firefox, make smaller scripts or change to doing your scripts through an IFRAME on a PHP page.

actually, we dont use IE, its either firefox or chrome. same thing happens

plus, it was fine before we rebooted the server.

any ideas why this happens? all agents are complaining....

That's an interesting one, have you tried watching mtop on your database to see if it's a DB bottleneck?

And just to humor the helping hands: can you post your hardware/software configuration (including any other installed software such as freepbx/trixbox if they are in there ...).

If you forgot on your first post of the topic, now is a good time to drop it in (just in case it triggers a resolution).

we have two boxes for our office. one for the php/mysql that contains the db and astguiclient and the other for asterisk.

we did not install anything else.

i checked the connection between the two, no problem.

and also, how do i run mtop?

i downloaded the package and installed it. but once i run it, i get the error:

also, my agents are also comlaining about long intervals between calls. i checked asterisk and it seems to be working fine[/code]

Please read the stickies for this forum and verify for me that you have read the manager's manual.

Also, please post your vicidial version, your OS version, and your Asterisk version and whether your install is from an .iso or scratch.

After that, also list your CPU type/speed, your RAM and your server load during these issues.

Covering some basics ...

In case of a "Scratch-Install" ... did you follow all of it or did you skip some portions?

You can also run "htop" or just "top" ...
