VICIDIAL client logged in on GUI not reflecting in screenlog

Postby irfanlateef » Wed Feb 04, 2009 2:58 pm

I am using Vicidial 2.0.4 1rc5 and running an campaign with
dail method set to ratio. There are 3 leads in the campaign
and 1 lead in the hopper.

I when agent logs in it says you are the only person in the conference
and after that does nothing.

I checked the screen -r 8478.ASTVDauto it says agent logged in is zero.

The Asterisk log show that the meetme conference has been started
the agent is logged in and answered the call but the VICIDIAL sent
the Originate command with NULL number in it.

Appreciate if you can give some pointers on what is causing this and
how to fix it.

Looks like you're using Dahdi, not sure why you're using that, it doesn't work with VICIDIAL.

What version of Asterisk are you using?

Matt,

I am using Asterisk 1.4.22 but my question is especially about the originate command in the line below which came from VICIDIAL and seems like
it does has the extension set in the command.
[Feb 4 14:19:00] DEBUG[8580] manager.c: Manager received command 'Originate'
[Feb 4 14:19:00] NOTICE[8580] chan_local.c: No such extension/context @from-internal creating local channel
[Feb 4 14:19:00] NOTICE[8580] channel.c: Unable to request channel Local/@from-internal

The DAHDI is not playing any role here as far as I understand. I also have a external VOIP
connection. I am using that for outgoing calls even though I have a T1 line using the DAHDI drivers.
I am using dahdi-linux-2.1.0 because that is the recommended upgrade from Zaptel by Asterisk.

Regards,
Irfan

I would recommend using Zaptel, there are still issues with Dahdi.

Also, Asterisk 1.4.22 is not stable, we recommend 1.4.21.2 if you have to use the 1.4 branch of Asterisk.

As for your specific problem, it looks like you are having a problem with dialplan contexts.
