404 cannot displayed vici page...

hi....ive already finished with the scratch install...problem is my http://ip add server/vicidial/admin.php cannot be displayed it got error cannot found 404...which means that my apache server dont know the file to serve....which is be in htdoc...of apache2....how am i going to set this up with vicidial.....anyone have idea.... :(

its slackware 12....i already followed the scratch install..then i tried to open it up....cant be displayed...the page of vicidial..

when you do a locate of apachectl do you have more than one?

yes i have more than one...on what part could ive messed up the configuration...im thinking it on php & apache...


and also ask question if in your scratch install can i used the 1.4 ver. of asterisk.libpri and zaptel...and would work as the same with the old version...?

Looks like you installed the Slackware install version of Apache, which is probably starting by default on boot.

As for Asterisk 1.4, it will work, just make sure you using the sample 1.4 extensions.conf you will find in the docs/conf_examples directory.

so your saying that i should not use the default apache..mysql...php on slackware..i should used the source install...all of this as i see in the scratch install document....
