hi i tried to use caller ID on my vicidial configuration....i tested it and my client said that they can view our caller ID...but the problem is sometimes its unknown...and sometimes its ok....its like random appearing to my client....what could be the problem with this....any suggestion..

Depending on the provider you are using, this can be an issue. Some providers actually have multiple terminations providers to them. Some of those providers allow for CID passthrough but others don't, so depending on the route each call takes, your call will have Caller ID or not.
