Ping Oddity
Posted: Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:47 pmI am looking for ways to ensure call quality is as best as it can be and one thing that has been on my mind is our ping of ~100ms for each of our reps.
Ping to the server from cmd is >1ms and same for server to client but when i run sip show peers i see an average of 100ms for each of our telemarketers.
From reading on the site I see that should be fine but I am just curious as to what causes it so much higher then normal ping? even our SIP VOIP provider has a ping of ~70
Any help would be most appreciated! Thank you!!
