gafachi caller id

Anyone here using Gafachi voip provider?

How do u set the caller id?


gafachi wont send out US calls without caller ID. I set it up on the campaign manager but all it is sending is the long V00 something.

any ideas?

Hello

I have not heard of this provider, but have you tried setting the caller-id number in fromuser= setting in sip.conf (not in the uri, but in the authentication)

Doesnt this break the autodial ? since vicidial uses caller-id to track calls . You should use caller-id in campaign .. the long V00 string is sent as name in caller id i think .

I made gafachi working doing that. But It always gives out 604 Invalid target number most of the time. Some numbers go through but most of the calls do not. I think gafachi blocks calls from certain numbers. Thats also why I remember I client of mine who used gafachi before got a high dial level because MOST OF THE CALLS DONT CONNECT EVEN IF YOU HAVE 50 CHANNELS.

Due to this circumstances, If anyone asked me if they should get gafachi, I will definitely wont recommend them.

iam about test the services
even i see single call.. taking time to connect 15seconds

other side hear my voice in first second, but other side voice
agent hear after 15seconds..

iam not sure is this problem with provider or application

but at the same time, change the provider works charm

need to try comibinations.....which one works

still i dont find a good provider give me 70% and more ASR

hi Op3r,

Yeah gafachi is a pain for vicidial. We had to create sub accounts on gafachi and hardcode callerids on each subaccount to use for each campaign. Looks like that "fromuser" solution was a better way. wasnt able to try it though.

But, their rates are good, and their tech support is accomodating.

Not only gafachi is a pain but their sales rep are rude. Especially this guy who told me is a supervisor and his name was Dave. He was absolutely rude!

If they are a PITA, change providers...

I use Vitelity. (www.vitelity.com)

While they do not have phone support, they stay on top to the emails. Their portal is pretty easy to use as well....and they allow to set the caller ID pretty easily with Vicidial.

I've only run up to 30 channels at once; I do not know how they perform if you run more than that.
