Hello,
I just installed a new vicibox10-express on a single server.

Version: 2.14b0.5
SVN Version: 3529
DB Schema Version: 1645
DB Schema Update Date: 2021-10-09 06:44:27

I set up a user, phone (viciphone), campaign, and carrier but running into a couple of issues.

1. When I log in to the agent interface, the phone shows as "unregistered".

2. When I log in to asterisk CLI and 'sip show peers' I do not see my phone or carrier registered.

Please help point me in the right direction to figure this out.

thank you!

Hi,

Please check your carrier is reachable and port opened.
Check it is ip authenitcation or password based. Check your trunk provider details and check registration

sip show peers command, will tell you if the remote peers are replying to the OPTION request sent by Asterisk when qualify option is equal=yes. You need to enable the sip debug and verify if the OPTION REQUEST is sent and received by the remote peers, and making sure there is no firewall blocking

Thanks for your reply.

The carrier is set up with Static IP Authentication. I am using the same carrier on another vicibox instance so I know it's not an issue with the carrier.

How do I check that my port is opened and how do I open it if it's closed?

ok, I was able to figure out the problem. for some reason, the keepalive script was not in my crontabs. I added the keepalive script, rebooted and now we're good to go. Thanks!
