Timezone - East to West Not working

We have a nationwide list in a campaign and want the system to start with East Coast states and move West as the day progresses. Currently the only setting we've changed was the LIST ORDER under the Campaign to UP TIMEZONE. However, it doesn't move west just stays on the East Coast leads all day. What am i missing?

UP TIMEZONE will dial east coast first, until it runs out of leads on the east coast. that's what UP TIMEZONE list order is for: It will use up all your east coast leads before it gets too late to dial them on the east coasst (when combined with local calling times). it's not a magical mixer that knows when it's best to move from zone to zone, certainly not without the use of local calling time.

that being said: You CAN set the local calling time to force the system to move from one coast to the other based on the time you want it to be in the area you're calling.

Create a new local calling time for "CoastToCoast" or some other interesting name, then set the local calling time to end at the latest time you want to call the east coast. Note that one hour later, it will stop calling the next time zone, and one hour later the next ... eventually you'll have no time zones left. So be sure you don't set the time too early.

Alternately, you can set a filter for the time zone of your choice and change it when you want to switch to a new time zone, but that's "manual" and annoying when you forget.
