i understand that Ubuntu can be use in lieu of Centos in installing Asterisk or Vici :shock:

may know if Vici will work just fine using Ubuntu Desktop 18.04.1 LTS ... or it should really be the
Ubuntu Server 18.04.1 LTS? :?:

besides, is there a limitation or advantages/disadvantages if i use Ubuntu rather than the Centos?

i've been inquiring so at least i some background before initiating the move :idea:

The only distro we recommend is OpenSuSE, and that is what we use for the VICIbox installer.
