Making "Phone Number" Read Only

Hello all,

Please excuse me if this has been addressed, and if it has can you please link me to the post.

We'd like to make everything on the initial agent page READ ONLY and work from the "Form" tab when changing the information that we allow them to change. One thing that will not be changed is the "phone" field. We don't want someone screw the lead up since we call the same lead for different clients. When marking the "Label Phone Number" section as ---READONLY--- in the system settings, it doesn't make it read only and replaces the label name with the ---READONLY--- tag.

Also while marking a label/field read only, its removing the label name.

Is there a fix for either of this issues?

There are campaign settings "Disable Alter Customer Data" and "Disable Alter Customer Phone"

Thank you so much. This works great. They can alter data in the main screen but it won't write to the database, but they can change stuff on our custom form page and it will write back. This is exactly what I wanted.
