Call-Recording skips after few minutes in few calls only

Postby jayudhandha » Mon Jul 24, 2017 1:38 am

Hi All,

I have installed Vicidial 2.14-617a with Asterisk 1.8 and MySql 5.7.

Everything works fine except below issue.

In my few inbound calls the recording is getting skipped after few minutes.

My call was running for 6 minutes but in recording file (/var/spool/asterisk/monitorDONE/GSM/) it is gets recorded from 00:00 to 03:15 (Around 3 minutes from beginning) duration.

How to resolve this? This gets affected for few calls only.

Any help will be great for me to understand the Issue.

Regards,
Jayesh

I have installed from below doc for multi server configuration.

http://www.poundteam.com/downloads/Vici ... v1%201.pdf

We have SIP trunk at our end with Asterisk 1.8.23.

Please find below latest logs.

The call was run for 8 minutes but i got recording of only 49 seconds.

[Jul 25 14:21:25] VERBOSE[30311] pbx.c: -- Executing [h@default:1] AGI("Local/58600068@default-000009ba;1", "agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log--HVcauses--PRI-----NODEBUG-----0---------------") in new stack

I have observed that after 49 seconds, My h@default get called.

Please anyone can suggest why is this thing happening?

Is it possible that agent is doing some stuff in agent logic screen?

My Install:
Scratch Install | Vicidial 2.14-617a Build 170529-2320 | Asterisk 1.8.23.0-vici | Dual Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | x86_64 | Intel Xeon CPU E3-1225 3.30GHz

You never answered my question about what hardware you are on(CPU/RAM/RAID/drives/etc...).

Also, how many agents, and what line-to-agent ratio do you use?

Dear mflorell,

Please find below hardware specifications.

CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1225 v5 @ 3.30GHz
RAM: 16GM
RAID:
md0 : active raid1 sdb1[1] sda1[0]
1048512 blocks super 1.0 [2/2] [UU]
bitmap: 0/1 pages [0KB], 65536KB chunk
md1 : active raid1 sdb2[1] sda2[0]
975581184 blocks super 1.1 [2/2] [UU]
bitmap: 5/8 pages [20KB], 65536KB chunk

We have around 50 agents in our system and we are not using PRI lines. We are using SIP Trunk.

I ask again: what line-to-agent ratio do you use?

Also, what kind of RAID card and what kind of drives?
