Retrieving the start time of a call, including ringing.

Postby suicehockey44 » Wed Jun 28, 2017 2:03 pm

Good afternoon -

What field denotes the start time of the call, including ringing?

We're using VoipMonitor as a guide to reference call start times.
We're noticing the the call_date field from the vicidial_log table 3 to 23 seconds (this is from a small sample size, the deltas may be greater) ahead of what is showing in VoipMonitor.

I'll note that we're seeing much better alignment of call start times by referencing the vicidial_dial_log table.

Thanks,
Matt

The vicidial_dial_log entries are inserted right before a call is sent to be dialed, so those would be best to use for the earliest possible start time for an outbound VICIdial call.
