Remote Agent Transfer takes an incredibly long time to send

Hello Everyone!

For some reason it appears the remote agent transfer takes an incredibly lengthy amount of time we've found this to be true both on remote agents through our carrier and through an internal trunk between freepbx and vici.

Initially this rendered the drop tone of *beep*, to fix this we adjusted the drop time. Now it will transfer but takes about 40 seconds to hear ringing.

Note: our queue priority is on 0

Any help is much appreciated!

Our campaign type is survey campaign

One quote unquote hack was instead of using agent_xfer when we changed it to extension and put the extension of the remote agent in the survey menu it transfers immediately but does not pass caller id as expected. we would like to get remote agents working effectively using caller id

Did you check to see if this is a vicidial delay or a FreePBX delay? Does FreePBX show the call CLI activity immediately and delay it? Or does Vicidial ignore the button press for 40 seconds?

Is the call going into a Queue at the destination in FreePBX or directly to a phone?

Does this happen even during testing with only one call active? Exactly a specific number of seconds each time?

Thanks for the reply, sorry for the delay Bill. This issue only seems to happen when autodialing, even at a rate of say 10 calls going. If its a single call, like a test call from the campaign, it doesn't happen, but the moment the camp starts running, this reliably causes unreliability and the call takes quite a long time to transfer to the remote agent. It is not an issue at Freepbx, it doesn't initiate the call for quite a while.
