[SOLVED] How do I stop a dialer from dialing?

How do I stop a dialer from dialing?

I have 4 dialers, 3 production and 1 backup, and all is working well. My question is,

I use 3 of the dialers and each has its own internet connection (I have them so I use them for redundancy.) One of my internet connections goes down and the other 2 dialers pick up the slack and nobody even notices the outage.

My issue is that that dialer with no internet connection is still burning through the list.

Is there a way to stop the dialer from actually dialing? My users are registered to that dialer and all is going well but it uses up a BUNCH of records in my lists.

Thanks

There isnt a way to make a dialer stop dialing automatically when it can no longer get in touch with it's carrier. You need to enable the carrier stats in the realtime report and watch the CONGESTION and CHANUNAVAIL percentages. When they make a sudden, drastic change then most likely one of the dialers has lost communication with the carrier. Then you can simply go into Admin -> Servers and set the Max Vicidial Trunks to 0 till the internet connection is restored.
