but im still not dialing.. i think it has something to do with meetme. it detects that the channel is in used but we are just reconnecting. i also restarted asterisk and the whole server when im getting this error. manual dial works but when logging in vicidial it floods that error.

What kind of channelbank are you using?

Can you place other calls normally from channelbank phones?

If you do a "lsmod" What is loaded?

If you run zttool does it show the spans are up?

Don't have zttool. But if I type ZAP SHOW STATUS. my Card slot is OK

it seems like my modprobe is showing wct4xxp instead of wct2xxp.

/etc/rc.d/rc.local
### load digium tormenta 4xT1 drivers into system
modprobe zaptel
modprobe wct2xxp
/sbin/ztcfg -vvvvvvvvvvvv

wct2xxp is just an alias for the wct4xxp driver

try changing this in your zaptel.conf:
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs

to this:
span=1,0,0,esf,b8zs

You should not be attempting to grab timing from a channelbank.

Is there any reason you are not using all 24 channels from the Zplex?

If you do not have a T1/E1 circuit then you should let the card do it's own timing(all zeros in the timing field of zaptel.conf)

One thing I have noticed is that if your dial string in your extensions.conf is setup improperly you will get these error messages spamming as well..

I.E. if you have NXXXXXXX instead of NXXXXXX (the extra X) ensure that this is not the case as I find it wierd but it does cause that error to spam.

the problem is when we are using manual dialing that not in the list or leads that is the error, so i solved that already but now my problem is here:

Im having problem on meetme, when i dial manually using vicidial screen, i can here the call but when im using autodialer, the CLI output is correct but it seems like i can't hear the call or rather it doesn't transfer any call, but when i used Conference it is working vbut the problem is the cpu process a lot. can you help me on this... i will paste my CLI later.

I just recently started getting spammed with this error message again. Nothing has changed in the environment that I can think of. Its random I can reboot the server then it will be fine for a day or two then out of the blue I start getting spammed again.

I have the same problem:
app_meetme.c: Unable to write frame to channel: Success
Digium 2-port PRI, Asterisk 1.2.10. The agents send DTMF, and these channels are not hang up correctly. I do a "soft hangup Local/8500998@default-xxxx" to hang up the channel and then it stops.
