You have been kicked from the conference(After 60 minutes)

Postby Acidshock » Tue May 24, 2011 1:15 pm

I am having an issue with reps being "kicked" from the conference after the phone call exceeds 60 minutes. I am wondering if it may have something to do with the Max recording time or if there is some other setting I can alter in order to allow calls to procede longer. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Are you able to reproduce this?

Can you give instructions for how to reproduce this?

Can you show the Asterisk CLI output when this happens?

Yeah its pretty well reproduceable in the sense that it happens several times a day when any call exceeds 60 minutes. I will check the asterisk log.

As far as instructions:

Fronter gets customer on the phone, 3 way's call to another number which puts the call into a conference with on-hook remote agents(Closers.) Call is answered by closer... after 60 minutes call disconnects with "You have been kicked form the conference."

Yes this is the recording time limit(ViciDial Recording Limit) that you set per server that needs to be lengthened to allow for longer 3-way calls.

It's a per-server setting in the Modify Server page:

Recording Limit -This field is where you set the maximum number of minutes that a call recording initiated by the system can be. Default is 60 minutes. This setting also limits the amount of time a 3-way call that has been left by an agent will stay up before it is terminated.
