Postby brainstorm » Wed Feb 06, 2008 12:01 am

hy frnds,

I cudnt understand how recording kinda stuff is performed in vicidial.

I kno tht in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor directory the recording files are saved and then after 5 mins the mixing is done,

But

which script is responsible for recording ??
(bcoz i m not able to find out even a single entry of recording extnesions [8309, 8310, 8168])

:? :? :?

The vicidial.php and vdc_db_query.php scripts initiate the recording by starting a call to 8309 or 8310

Are you using Zap channels (T1/E1/POTS)?

You can try ChanSpy, but it isn't always reliable. For VICIDIAL usage I would recommend using 6 + sessionID for monitoring agents.
