playback recorded files of users via soft phone

Hello ,
Is there some way threw which I can playback recorded conversations , stored in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/DONE/ folder via soft phone?

Currently I made available recorded files by linking /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/DONE/ folder to www application (apahche htdocs). But looking for someway so that I can play recorded conversation of users by using softphone.

I have not tried but, this is possible through IVR
and play them like a voice messages.

I did a custom app like this for a client a couple years ago, it was very customized to their needs, but something like this is certainly possible.
