In Asterisk 1.4 I am wondering if we could name the recording with a define variable(s), such as CAMPAIGN ID, CUSTOMER ID, ETC. This will help us to do a more precise searching method to find our recordings. Thanks for your help as always :)

As a sidenote, anyone knows a good open source WFM that can be combined with Vicidial for Call Center? Thanks..

You can use vendor lead code in the recording name, and at the campaign level you can put in the campaign name if you want, so I'm not sure what you're looking for extra here?

What is "WFM"?

I'm looking to put variable such as customerid in the recording filename.

WFM means Workforce Management. Some kind of scheduling software for Call Center that tracks agent activities

Have you taken a look at Lokad?

If your customer ID is in the vendor_lead_code field then you can just use the VENDORLEADCODE keyword in the recording filename field of your campaign. This is a feature of 2.4(svn/trunk)
