I know we can control the caller id on a 3way call but is it possible to set it also on a blind transfer?

No, currently that is not possible. To do so you would need to write an AGI script that would alter the CID after transfer is initiated and before the Dial. This would probably mean using a different dial prefix to loop the call through before sending it on to it's destination Dial.

Something like that, it would take quite a bit of testing to ensure that all of the possible settings for callerid and the callerid choices an agent could make would be followed on these blind transfers, but it is certainly possible.
