I have an question. Don,t know whether it is possible or not. I want to play a custom message for every agent log in any campaign. Like I want to replace conf-onlyperson.gsm with custom made message which will be agent wise unique. Like when agent log in hear something like " welcome MIke have a good day" this. And this should be per agent basis different. can anyone guide me how this is possible ?

thanks in advance.

Admin -> System Settings ->

Custom Agent Login Sound -
This is a systemwide feature that only works on Asterisk 1.8 servers or higher. This allows you to set an audio file for your agents to hear after their phone has connected to the server after they have logged in to the agent screen. If you want to have this audio prompt be the only prompt that the agent hears, then you will need to copy the sip-silence audio files over the only-person audio files. If you want the agent to hear no prompt when they login then also set this field to sip-silence. Default is EMPTY.

Thank you for your valuable reply. I already checked that option. It is only for replacing existing gsm file. But my goal is to more customize. Like want to play different message with every agents . example. welcome back " agent name " . it should different when agent log in may be ending with agents name.

That would take quite a bit of custom programming to be able to do that.

That gsm file is not called by any VICIdial script, the Asterisk app_meetme application is what plays it, so if you want to alter that to work on a per-session/per-user basis, you will have to alter Asterisk source code and recompile it.

Thanks mflorel for your valuable reply. however Tried to sneak into this but not familiar with source code . So I would request you to do this on paid basis and make it simplified.

pls. let me know about cost and time frame.

Please send a detailed description of exactly how you want this feature to work, and how you want to be able to configure it, to sales@vicidial.com and we will provide you with a quote.
