Dial timeout on transfer

Where is the dial timeout for transfer calls defined? It doesn't seem to use the dial timeout defined on the campaign.

For Blind Transfers, those are a "Redirect" in Asterisk, and you can only define a timeout per-call in an "Originate". But, you should be able to define a timeout in the dialplan "Dial" command if you want.

hi there where do we define the dial timeout of the transfer.? is it on the dialplan of the carrier.?

@Matt,

Any idea where do i set the timeout for the Transfer conference.? the 3 way calls and also does it need to have equal timeout value for the campaign and the carrier Dialplan timeout..? coz i have scenario that even the transfer is on live call but i see this:

The manual dial timeout as set in your campaign. It also won't trigger until at least 50 seconds.

you mean until 50 second no one answers on the Dial customer, it will prompt error Dialtimeout.? contact system administrator

Also the dialtimeout set on campaign here: Dial Timeout: 30 ( This one will be used by the 3way conference as dialtimeout for calls.?)


Another scenario is that Agent told me that is more common to get dialtimeout when they park the customer if not much better it push through but theya re required to park the customer call before dialing to verifier
I got to many unsuccessfull transfer coz of dialtimeout or delay on calling the custmer number set.

Unless I'm reading this wrong he means:

1) there is a setting in the campaign but

2) Regardless of the setting, this event/message/popup won't trigger before 50 seconds.
