you can use 1.2.30.4 or 1.4.21.2 or the later 1.4 versions with dahdi

you should use any of asterisk 1.4

No, not "Any Asterisk 1.4"
We recommend 1.4.21.2 or 1.4.27.1
There are a few others that will work, but most of the 1.4 releases have serious problems with them that can affect reliability.
